COP29 Qualification and Pledge

SPONSORSHIP IMPORTANT: If you are not an existing member of Race to Zero, endorsed by UNFCCC, then organisations wishing to participate within the Green Zone should be able to demonstrate that they have taken tangible steps to meet the minimum starting line criteria of Race to Zero, with evidence of their credentials and achievements. For example,  your organisation has publicly announced or is planning to take the Race to Zero pledge with 2030 and 2050 science-based targets, and will work towards a credible transition plan by enclosing a signed  Science Based Targets letter to commit to set Race to Zero 2030 and 2050 targets and a credible Transition Plan to be defined within 24 months of committing. Alternatively, organization who has signed up or will sign up to a credible climate National Pledge, participate in the sustainability knowledge (capacity building) program and within 24 month set emission reduction and net zero targets with credible net zero transition plan can participate too.
